All of our pieces come with non-removable metal inserts and mounting screws. The finish is four coats of 100% food safe clear Epoxy available in gloss or satin. An oil finish is available, however you will have to maintain them by periodically applying a light coat of wax or mineral oil. The knobs and the finish (except for oil) are warranted under normal use not to crack, split, peel or fade for a period of 5yrs . If this occurs, send us an email and we will gladly replace it.
